If they have the Polaris OEM rear bumper there will be clearance/fitment issues and the hlp or Polaris heavy duty 1 1/4” rear upper radius bars will hit the optional OEM Polaris rear bumper if you add this lift kit!!! It will work just looks awful. NOTE: does not work on all full size models. NOTE: regular 570 sportsman (non sp) models have lower control arms only with struts. 58 Does not fit any new body style 2009 ranger or the 2010 ranger crew!!!! Does not fit the straight axle Polaris rangers!!!!! This kit only fits the independent rear supsension models!!!!! 59 Estimated install time for experienced mechanic: 2hr fitment note # 1: be sure to always check cv boot clearance at strut housing during installation as you may have to grind aluminum strut housing to create sufficient clearance for cv boots (even if you are running stock cv axles) we had to clearance the strut housing on the 2011 model sportsman we tested with factory axles. If you are running a heavy duty aftermarket axle you will have to clearance the strut housing. Fitment note # 2 for all 2011-2016 models: heavy duty aftermarket rear axles are required to properly install this kit on any 2011-2016 sportsman models/applications listed above. On 2011-2016 models with a lift kit installed the rear axles bind when the sus- pension is at full extension /droop and are subject to break. Fitment note # 3 : this kit does not work on Polaris sportsman 570 sp models. See new kit for sp 570! Fitment note # 4: this kit does not fit the Polaris x2 models!!!! Fitment note # 5: for lift kit to work on any 2005 model sportsman it "must" be built after the 1/01/2005 date!!!!" 60 3” Signature series lift kit estimated install time for experienced mechanic: 2hr NOTE: fits full size models only!!! NOTE: 1.5” Spacers are recommended, but a minimum of a 1” wheel spacer is required on the front if you are running 12” diameter factory or aftermarket wheels for the wheel to clear the tie rod with the alignment cones installed. If you are running wide tires a 1.5” Or wider spacer may be required depending on the width of the tire for tire to shock clearance at full lock steering. NOTE: if you have upgraded or plan to upgrade to our pro series tie rod/rack end kit you will need our part# (psak-1) alignment cone kit for 1/2” diameter bolts. Our psak-1 alignment kit comes with 2- alignment cones and all of the hardware required to upgrade both sides of your ranger and is used to help correct your tie rod angles. NOTE: be sure to ask if the customer has our high lifter forward a-arm kit that now includes our psak-1 alignment cone kit for 1/2” bolts. If they do they can install our hd ranger tie rod kit with no additional purchases. NOTE: new aftermarket heavy duty cv axles are recommended for the 2011- 2014 ranger before installing any brand of lift kit. The 2011-2014 model rangers have lighter duty rear axles than previous year models and are more prone to breakage. All customers should be aware of these risks before installing a lift kit on a 2011-2014 ranger, as high lifter will not warranty or replace any broken cv axles. NOTE: 1.5” Spacers are recommended, but a minimum of a 1” wheel spacer is required on the front if you are running 12” diameter factory or aftermarket wheels for the wheel to clear the tie rod with the alignment cones installed. If you are running wide tires a 1.5” Or wider spacer may be required depending on the width of the tire for tire to shock clearance at full lock steering. 61 3” Signature series lift kit!
