This kit only fits the independent rear suspension models!!!!! 59 Estimated install time for experienced mechanic: 2hr. fitment note # 1: be sure to always check cv boot clearance at strut housing during installation as you may have to grind aluminum strut housing to create sufficient clearance for cv boots (even if you are running stock cv axles) we had to clearance the strut housing on the 2011 model sportsman we tested with factory axles. If you are running a heavy duty aftermarket axle you will have to clearance the strut housing. Fitment note # 2 for all 2011-2016 models: heavy duty aftermarket rear axles are required to properly install this kit on any 2011-2016 sportsman models/applications listed above. On 2011-2016 models with a lift kit installed the rear axles bind when the suspension is at full extension /droop and are subject to break. The 20112014 model rangers have lighter duty rear axles than previous year models and are more prone to breakage. All customers should be aware of these risks before installing a lift kit on a 2011-2014 ranger, as high lifter will not warranty or replace any broken cv axles.
