This is a 2 letter rating system ( see graph at right ). The grades of brake pads available range frome,f,g through to h rating, each grade being a 20% step up in friction delivery. We offer a pad option for all riders. Semi-metallic: semi-metallic brake pads and shoes are composed of a non-asbestos, semi-metallic carbon kevlar aramid fiber from dupont and have a dot rating of “FF” coefficient of friction (C.F.) At 250° and 600°: 0.44-0.45 Both temps. These provide riders with a long pad life, low dust and brake disk wear, great stopping power and fade resis- tance, and an economical price.
