All filters come in 3 sizes to correspond to the three sizes of masks offered. To determine the correct mask size for your facial structure, we recommend taking exact measurements using the method described below. This is the most accurate way to determine your correct size. Make Sure Your Mask & Filter Sizes Match! Medium Mask = Medium Filter Large Mask = Large Filter X-Large Mask = X-Large Filter SIZING Measure from the height of the bridge of your nose (usually just below your eye line) down to the tip of the chin, and do not measure past the tip of your chin. *See fig.1 Match your measurement with the given sizes to find the correct sizing for you. If your measurements lie in-between sizes we recommend to size down for a tighter seal. fig. 1 Male Model wears a size Large. *See fig. 2 Female Model wears a size Medium. *See fig. 3 fig. 4 RZ MASK® FILTERS – TECHNOLOGY All RZ® filters trap particulates down to .1 micron in size HOW LONG DOES AN RZ FILTER LAST? The life expectancy of the RZ ® Filter depends on many variables, such as; particulate exposure density, particulate exposure duration, and user breathing rate. With that said, below are our general guidelines – as the user will have the final call given your exposure. 20-30+ hours of continuous use in heavy dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition, etc. 30-40+ hours of continuous use in light dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition, etc. 50-60+ hours of continuous use when protecting against allergens, pollutants, odors, etc. fig. 2 fig. 3 PROPER FIT A proper fit is key to efficient filtration and prolonged comfort. A proper seal is only required on the filter, not the mask shell. *See fig.4 The filter (inside mask) is creating a seal on the users face while the mask shell has some slack. This is acceptable. As long as the filter is creating a seal, the mask is deemed effective. When applying your mask, place the top most part of the mask on the very top of your nose, then lower to cover your mouth and chin. Finish by fastening the strap(s) in a comfortable position. All RZ® filters trap particulates down to .1 micron in size, which is 400 times smaller than a human hair! In addition, RZ ® filters have been laboratory proven to be up to 99.9% effective at removing these particles. Testing was performed at the world-renowned Nelson Laboratories in Salt Lake City, UT. Note that this performance far surpasses that of fabric or cloth masks, homemade masks, bandanas, surgical masks, and paper masks. Even N95 masks are only rated to filter 95% of particulates down to .3 micron! RZ Industries ® prides itself on offering world-class performance and protection. Keep in mind that, no matter which RZ ® filter you choose, you’ll receive unprecedented protection for you and your loved ones.
