Speed Bleeders are available for most motorcycles, cars, trucks, and virtually anything else with hydraulic brakes or clutch. First, we suggest that you prime your new hoses before installation. Using the proper brake fluid and an eyedropper or small syringe, squirt brake fluid into one end of the hose until it comes out the other end. You do not have to completely fill the hose, as long as the inside of the Teflon® liner is coated with fluid. 2. Install the hose using new sealing washers and torquing the banjo bolts to factory specifications. Now install Russell’s patented new Speed Bleeder in place of the original bleeder valve in the caliper. The Speed Bleeder has a spring-loaded stainless steel check ball in it that allows for one person brake bleeding. 3. Open the Speed Bleeder 1/4 to 1/2 turn and continuously pump the brakes. Every time you pump, the check ball is pushed off its seat, allowing the fluid and air out. Between pumps, the spring closes the check ball, preventing any air from getting back into the system. Make sure you keep the master cylinder reservoir full during bleeding. 4. When all the air is bled out of the hoses, tighten the Speed Bleeder down and you’re done! Speed Bleeders are available for most motorcycles, cars, trucks, and virtually anything else with hydraulic brakes or clutch. TECH TIP STREET BIKE BRAKE HOSES (CLEAR) STREET BIKE BRAKE HOSES (SMOKE)
